I'm usually oblivious to the quality of towels and washcloths ... as long as they dry me off or wash my face I have no complaints. But amongst the mixed collection of bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths I have, I notice every time I use these. They're extremely soft, totally absorbant, and the perfect weight - heavy enough to feel pampered, light enough to dry in a reasonable amount of time. The 'sand' color of the set I purchased is true to its name and hasn't faded after about ten cycles through the washer and dryer. Love these towels!

Really nice towels.
The towels are fluffy and soft. The color matches my decor perfectly. It takes a few washes to get them really absorbant. They don't shed much fuzz which keeps everything looking nice and new.
Pleasant surprise
I have to admit that the only reason I bought these towels was that I wanted Burgundy towels to change my bathroom for Christmas. I really didn't care abut the quality because I was only going to use them for about a month. What a surprise when I received the towels I couldn't believe how soft they were. I read other reviews that said they washed terribly and left a lot of lint and pills. I washed mine and found done of that they came out beautifully and were just as soft. I will definitely be buying another set in Amethyst.
